From August 8 to 10, during the 17th World Solar PV and Energy Storage Industry Expo (Guangzhou International Solar PV and Energy Storage Exhibition), Xiamen Zhixiang Steel made a high-profile appearance with its innovative modular prefabricated BIPV photovoltaic mounting system. Not only did this groundbreaking technological solution draw widespread attention at the show, but the company also achieved dual accolades at the concurrently held 2025 World Solar PV & Energy Storage Industry Expo and High-Quality Development Conference for the PV–Storage Sector: Vice President of Marketing Ye Yaozong delivered a keynote speech that provided an in-depth analysis of the product’s innovative value; meanwhile, thanks to its technological breakthroughs and strong market recognition, Zhixiang Steel was honored as the “2025 Outstanding PV Mounting System Provider,” underscoring its status as an industry benchmark.
Innovation Attracts Attention: Modular Technology Solves Industry Pain Points
At Booth E382 in Hall 13.2 of Area B at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, the company’s new modular prefabricated photovoltaic mounting system immediately captured the attention of the entire exhibition. This product boasts eight key advantages: enhanced safety, faster delivery, superior aesthetics, more precise acceptance inspections, reduced after-sales service needs, broader applicability, lower costs, and higher returns. By standardizing and modularizing BIPV structural components and parts and replacing traditional welding and complex assembly with bolted connections, the solution directly addresses industry pain points: eliminating fire hazards and high-altitude work risks through weld-free construction; enabling the installation of 50 panels per household in just one day—work can even proceed in rainy conditions; and utilizing zinc-aluminum-magnesium coated steel, which offers far greater corrosion resistance than conventional galvanized steel. Combined with a horizontal-row structural design, this system has been certified by Tongji University’s Disaster Prevention Laboratory to withstand Typhoon Level 16, ensuring 25 years of safe power plant operation. Moreover, the overall cost is RMB 0.1–0.2 per watt lower than that of conventional prefabricated mounting systems, material usage is reduced by 30%, and leftover materials can be reused, fundamentally overturning the industry’s long-held belief that “safety and cost cannot be balanced.”
A buyer from Southeast Asia stated on-site: “Southeast Asia is frequently hit by typhoons, making traditional mounting-system maintenance extremely costly. Zhixiang’s products not only address wind-resistance challenges but also enable rapid installation, making them an excellent fit for our project requirements.” According to statistics, during the exhibition, Zhixiang Steel’s booth attracted nearly 10,000 visitors seeking information and consultation, and the company secured letters of intent for cooperation with more than 200 domestic clients and over 50 overseas clients.
Discussing Development through Exchange: The Conference Features Presentations on Breakthroughs in Decoding Technology
As a key component of the High-Quality Development Conference for the PV-plus-storage industry, Ye Yaozong, Vice President of Marketing at the company, delivered a keynote speech titled “Zhixiang Modular Prefabricated PV Mounting Systems,” offering an in-depth analysis from three perspectives: industry pain points, technological innovation, and application value.
“Photovoltaic professionals aspire to solutions that are ‘highly safe, superior in quality, fast in delivery, widely applicable, aesthetically pleasing, and cost-effective.’ Yet the inherent risks of electric welding, low installation efficiency, and limited application scenarios associated with traditional mounting structures directly contradict these aspirations,” noted Vice President Ye Yaozong in his presentation. He went on to explain that Zhixiang’s innovative mounting system, leveraging a “factory prefabrication plus on-site assembly” approach, reduces design and detailing time to just 5–10 minutes per project, streamlines component variety from over 60 types down to fewer than 10, and enables even workers without specialized skills to master installation quickly—thereby perfectly meeting the industry’s demands for “fast delivery and broad applicability.”
He particularly emphasized the product’s ability to adapt across all application scenarios: “Whether it’s small-span residential projects, large-span commercial and industrial PV power plants, or even applications with stringent requirements for waterproofing and aesthetic integration, our modular design can respond with remarkable flexibility, completely breaking away from the industry’s longstanding challenge of ‘large-scale projects inevitably requiring manual welding.’”
Winning awards demonstrates strength, securing recognition as a high-quality photovoltaic mounting system provider.
At the industry awards gala held concurrently with the conference, the company stood out from numerous peers thanks to its technological innovation, market recognition, and practical application value, earning the title of “2025 Quality PV Mounting System Enterprise.” The award is jointly presented by the Guangdong Solar Energy Association and the Organizing Committee of the Guangzhou International Photovoltaic Exhibition, with the aim of recognizing enterprises that have made outstanding contributions to the high-quality development of the solar-plus-storage industry. More solutions
Batching plant bulk material transfer scheme
In batching plant systems, assembled steel silos are often required as intermediate storage containers for ingredients. Bulk materials are transported to these assembled steel silos by bulk trucks, belts, etc., and then conveyed to the weighing scales via screw conveyors, belt conveyors, etc., for mixing.
Factory Bulk Material Storage and Conveying Solutions
Factory bulk material storage and conveying solution: Raw materials arrive at the factory by bulk trucks or other means, and are conveyed to the raw material storage silo via dump-lift or compressed air. They are then transported to the metering equipment via belt conveyor or screw conveyor. After precise metering, they are mixed or bagged, and sent to the finished product storage silo via discharge equipment, or bagged for sale after packaging by an automatic packaging and palletizing machine.
Hydropower project bulk material transfer scheme
New hydropower projects are usually built in relatively remote areas, making it difficult to transport raw materials such as cement, fly ash, and sand and gravel. Large-capacity prefabricated steel plate silos are usually needed for centralized transportation, allowing for a single delivery to cover a longer period. The materials are then directly transported to the point of use via inclined belts, pneumatic conveying, and other methods.
