The cement bucket elevator feeding method also becomes the material loading method. The general structure of cement bucket elevator is composed of head casing, tail casing, middle box, running parts, etc. The feeding is carried out on the tail casing, and the discharge port is completed on the head casing. Therefore, the conveying direction of the cement bucket elevator is vertical.

The bucket elevator is loaded at the tail, and there are two ways of loading:
1. Digging feed
(1) Digging type:
The material is excavated from the pile by the hopper. This method is mainly suitable for powdery, granular and small lump materials with low abrasiveness. With scoop charging, the hoppers are usually sparsely arranged and allow the hoppers to operate at higher speeds. In order to avoid overloading and material retraction, the height of the excavated material should be lower than the level of the tensioning axle.
The cement bucket elevators that use digging feed generally include TD belt-type cement bucket elevators and TH chain-type cement bucket elevators. The digging type is also called the digging type feeding. There are no high requirements for the design of the take-out feed port, and the lower position can be designed according to the needs.
2. Loading feed

Load the material directly into the hopper. It can be used to convey materials with large lumps or high abrasiveness. In this way, the hoppers should be arranged continuously and densely, and the running speed should be lower (generally less than 1m/s), and the direction of movement should be Facing the flow direction of the material flow, the position of the lower edge of the feeding port is higher than the horizontal plane where the tensioning wheel shaft is located.
Loading feeding is also called inflow feeding. Relying on the gravity of the material itself, the material falls from the feeding port and flows into the hopper. This feeding method is generally more common in the slab chain cement bucket elevator.
The height, angle and shape of the feeding port are very particular about the design. The angle of the feed port is close to 45°, and the height is also higher than that of the pull-out feed port. The cement bucket elevator manufacturer tells you that the shape of the hopper is generally a parallel bucket, the design angle of the feeding port is 45°, and the angle of the feeding port is close to a straight line, so that the material can enter the elevator hopper smoothly, and there are baffles on both sides. , so that the falling materials can smoothly enter the next hopper. The hopper spacing design of the plate chain elevator is also very small.
